EUR/USD sits at 1.2585, effectively unchanged on the day. We did see a half-decent rally early, but that floundered on important technical resistance up at 1.2625 and we drifted back lower from there. While recent polls suggest we could see a pro-austerity government in Greece, there remain serious worries surrounding Spain in general and it’s banking sector in particular.
Buy stops seen gathered up in 1.2625/30 area. Trailing sell stops seen through 1.2550.
Cable effectively unchanged at 1.5700. Been that kind of day.
