US yields hit 1.75%


We were 1.61% intraday on Wednesday after the Fed…How things change in less than 48 hours. From more QE back to “taper before the end of the year” in no time flat.

Firmer US equities are helping underpin the rise in yields as investors presumably move out of super-low yielding bonds in search of better returns in stocks. Just like the Fed wants them to…

Firmer yields and stocks are an underpinning factor for the dollar, particularly USD/JPY
