AUD/NZD: Short-term trading idea

I know this pair isn’t always the easiest to trade as some of the retail platforms have wide spreads but here’s the idea. My NZD trader friend has been picking the NZD really well and he feels its a bit oversold near .8000. He prefers to trade this intraday long NZD view against the AUD, as it’s got some technical resistance looming at 1.2835 (200-day MA) and also the 61.8% retracement of the 1.3055/1.2515 fall. It’s presently trading around 1.2825 and he thinks it will fall at least to 1.2780 during the course of the day.
