EGBS: Traders note article in Spanish daily newspaper La Vanguardia doing the
rounds, that is reportedly saying the ECB wants to cut its interest rates to
0.15% or 0.10% and also lower the depo rate to -25bps. The paper is also
reportedly saying the ECB will offer E1tln 3-year LTRO but set conditions for
banks to increase their lending to SME.

EURO-DOLLAR: traders link the sharp move lower in euro-dollar, breaking under
Wednesday lows at $1.3703 to $1.3685, on a Spanish press report suggesting the
ECB is looking to cut the deposit rate to -25bps. Rate holds heavy, currently
trading around $1.3688. The euro reacting more on negative news reports which
could leave market short into the release of EZ CPI. If the flash forecast is
confirmed we could see a quick move to cover those positions. Bids seen to
$1.3680, more around technical levels to $1.3673 with stops placed on a break of
$1.3670.
