EURO-DOLLAR: Managed to stretch recovery to $1.2944 with traders
linking move to a recovery in euro-yen sparking suggestions we could
see RHS interest in this latter pauir at the ECB fix. Euro-dollar has
since drifted off the high, currently around $1.2937. Offers seen at
$1.2950/55 with stops above.
CABLE: Reserve name linked to the move back above $1.6240 one trader
reports. The recovery seen allowing euro-sterling to back away from
extended recovery highs at stg0.7971 to currently trade around
stg0.7965. Rate traded to $1.6244, currently holding back at $1.6238.
Offers $1.6250/55 with stops above.
AUSSIE: Continued demand lifts the pair through tech resistance to print
fresh intraday highs of $1.0448. Strong offers seen into $1.0450 and
$1.0460, a break opens $1.0490/00.
EURO-DOLLAR: Presses to the overnight high again as early US demand
provides fresh lift shortly after the IMM opening, pair squeezing into
the zone of offers reported at $1.2950/55 area before stalling. Residual
offers to $1.2955, stops beyond, more offers $1.2970/80. Last $1.2945.
