EUR/USD: Offers 1.2980/00, likely buy stops through 1.3010 ahead of more offers 1.3040/50. Bids 1.2920/40 and 1.2900/10 sell stops below ahead of more bids 1.2855/65 and tech support at 200 day MA at 1.2828

EURO-DOLLAR: Moves through earlier recovery highs at $1.2954, the
recovery off $1.2928 extending to $1.2965 at writing. Minor tech
resistance seen at $1.2968 (76.4% $1.2980-28), a break here to open a
move toward that $1.2980 level ahead of the overnight Asian high at
$1.2990.

EURO-POLISH: The currency pair opened around Pln4.1440 and eased to
Pln4.1425 on local flow, with trade volumes seen light across the board.
Technical support seen at Pln4.1360 and Pln4.1300 from the 5, 21 dma's,
through here opens Pln4.1241 (55 dma), ahead of demand from offshore
names into Pln4.1200. On the topside offers seen at Pln4.1500/20,
stronger at Pln4.1690/00. Lack of market data today as traders look to
euro-dollar for direction. Rate last Pln4.1440.

EURO-HUF: Reports in the weekend press suggested that Hungary hope to
sign a precautionary credit deal of E12-15 bln with international
lenders. Negotiations are expected to continue next month and Mihaly
Varga who is leading the government's team said Hungary was seeking a
2-3 year agreement, similarly to the flexible credit line for Poland,
which has a much stronger economy. The currency pair has range traded in
recent sessions and the quiet theme continued, opening around Huf282.40
and lifting in tandem with euro-polish to Huf282.70. Tech resistance
seen at Huf283.09 (21 dma), ahead of offers at Huf284.00/20. The Asian
low provides support at Huf281.59, a break opens Huf281.35/30 (Huf281.31
- 21 Sep low), ahead of Huf280.60/50 (Huf280.52 - 14 Sep low). Rate
extends gains to Huf282.88 at typing.

EURO-CZECH: The rate lifted on the European open on reported demand from
a Swiss bank to Czk24.867 as the pair consolidated overnight Asian
gains. On the topside offers reported at Czk24.900 and Czk24.940,
stronger behind at Czk24.972 (21 Sep high). The Asian low provides
support at Czk24.810, through here opens a deeper move towards Czk24.754
(21 Sep low). Traders look to euro-dollar for moves in headline driven
markets.

EURO-HUF: Early demand from offshore continues and the pair extends
gains through tech resistance from the 21 dma to Huf283.14. Offers
reported at Huf284.00/20, ahead of Huf285.10 (20 Sep high). Profit take
sales seen at typing and the rate dips back under Huf283.00, last deals
Huf282.77.
