JAPAN COMMENTS: Marc Chandler of Brown Brothers Harriman notes that May was the
2nd consecutive month that Japanese investors were net buyers of foreign stocks
and bonds (Y2.98 trn), after being sellers in the prior 4 months, with a clear
bias towards foreign bonds (over stocks). "Japanese investors bought Y2.5trn of
foreign bonds in May and Y5.7trn over the past 12 months," vs Y4.26bn in foreign
bonds in the 12-month period ending in May 2013. In the BOP data released
Tuesday, the MOF offered a country breakdown. "Japanese investors bought Y1
trillion of US notes and bonds in May," the most since last November, Chandler
says. In comparison, in the 12-month period ending in May, they bought Y7.4 trn
($72.9bn) and in the year ago period, Japanese investors sold JPY6.8 trn ($67bn)
of US notes and bonds. What was a bit of a surprise is that Japanese investors
bought even larger amounts of French notes and bonds (Y1.93trn or $19bn) in May,
the most "since at least 2005 when the current time series began." French
fundamentals may be "considerably worse" than German fundaments, but Japanese
investor thinking is that "given political considerations, French bonds are as
good as Bunds and pay a modest premium to boot," he says.

kurs giełdy NY może zaważyć nad kierunkiem walut

ja tu widzę zagrywkę stricte pod minutki by wybić w górę , w kierunku 102. powinny być dalej niemniej jastrzębie.
